Adds structural continuity and opening protection to the Roof baseline.

- Impact or pressure-rated exterior doors
- FORTIFIED-compliant garage door
- Anchor bolt or strap verification
FORTIFIED Gold
Full structural continuity from foundation to ridge. Highest resilience.
- All Silver requirements
- Load path extended to foundation
- Framing and foundation verification
- Inswing or outswing doors accepted
- Typically new construction only
- IBHS Gold certificate issued
